CURRENT SYSTEM AND CHALLENGES

Currently most organizations follow paper based evaluation system where the instructor distributes the necessary documents, conducts the exam, collects the answers and send for evaluation. The main challenges to be met are:

• De-centralized evaluation methodology and material.
• Highly variable levels of productivity.
• Time consuming and more expensive.
• Low data security, as paper-based files have unauthorized accessibility by other users.
• Resource management is cumbersome.

WAIRS SOLUTION

The WAIRS LMS provides a web-based, distributed and user friendly evaluation system for all users of the system. The features include:

• Registered users can access the system worldwide and at any time.
• Advanced evaluation types including audio and video.
• An automated assessment would be conducted at the end of each training session and certificates can be viewed online and printed out or mailed to the candidate on successful completion of the test.
• The tutor can create user groups, questionnaire categories and assign/deny questionnaires for selected user groups.
• Log reports shall be maintained for each user for recording details such as date, time, number of attempts, results,etc shall be maintained for each of his attempt.
• The Administrator and the trainers shall have provision to add new questions or edit existing questions.
• The system shall have a Test Management module facilitating maintenance of questions of type true/false, multiple choices, fill in the blanks etc. for each Topic file uploaded. There shall be provision to upload images when creating or editing questions.
• The system shall have a provision to add criteria for tests, to view the   progress of the learner and to evaluate and comment on the Evaluation.
• Selected users can sign up with their login ID and attend the live online exam on the prescribed date and time
• The tutors can make questionnaires using the available question formats(about 16) as well as set the date, time and  duration for each exams
• The tutors can also restrict the access of users  to online exams if they do not meet the qualifying criteria’s
• The top performers shall be high lighted based on their grades in the tests
